William Henry Giles Kingston, frequently credited as W. H. G. Kingston, was an English author active during the nineteenth century. Born in 1814, he dedicated much of his writing career to crafting adventure novels tailored specifically for young boys, a popular and growing genre during his lifetime.
Kingston's literary output contributed significantly to the landscape of Victorian children's fiction. He continued writing up until his death in 1880, leaving behind a legacy as a prominent creator of boys' adventure stories.
