Frank Koester, born Franz Köster on August 28, 1876, in Sterkrade, Germany, was a German-American engineer and author. After spending his early life in Germany, he relocated to the United States, where he pursued his professional career.\n\nKoester's work bridged the disciplines of engineering and writing. He lived and worked in the United States until his death in New York City on October 5, 1927.
