Leonora Blanche Lang (née Alleyne) was an English writer, editor, and translator who made monumental contributions to children's literature during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born in 1851, she is best known for her extensive work on The Fairy Books, a celebrated series of twenty-five collections of folk and fairy tales published between 1889 and 1913. She undertook this massive literary endeavor alongside her husband, the scholar and writer Andrew Lang.

Although her husband was often publicly credited as the sole editor of the collections, Leonora Lang was the primary force behind translating, adapting, and rewriting the majority of the stories. Her linguistic skills and narrative talent allowed her to source tales from various global cultures, translating them into accessible and engaging English for young readers. Within this massive series, the most famous are the Rainbow Fairy Books, a sequence of twelve volumes each named after a different color, beginning with The Blue Fairy Book.

Through her dedication to folklore preservation, Lang helped popularize fairy tales in the English-speaking world, shaping the imaginative landscapes of generations of children. Her work bridged cultural divides by bringing international oral traditions to a wider audience. She continued her literary pursuits until her death in 1933, leaving an enduring mark on the history of children's publishing.
