Stephen Herbert Langdon (1876–1937) was an American-born British scholar who dedicated his career to the field of Assyriology. Born in the United States, he later relocated to Great Britain, where he focused his academic efforts on the languages, literature, and history of ancient Mesopotamia.
As an Assyriologist, Langdon's work centered on the translation and analysis of cuneiform texts. His research contributed to the modern understanding of early Near Eastern civilizations, particularly their religious and cultural practices, before his death in 1937.
