Åke Algot Lange, born Åke Mortimer Lange, was a Swedish-American explorer and writer. Born in 1884, he focused his literary efforts on documenting his travels and observations in South America.
Lange is best known for his books detailing his expeditions into the Amazon region. His works provided readers with accounts of the geography and environment of the area. He passed away in 1961.
