Rosamond Nina Lehmann (1901–1990) was an English novelist and translator who became a prominent figure in twentieth-century British literature. She first entered the literary scene with the publication of her debut novel, Dusty Answer, in 1927. The book became a succès de scandale, quickly establishing her reputation and launching her career.

Following her early success, Lehmann integrated into the contemporary literary establishment, developing close relationships with members of the influential Bloomsbury set. Over the course of her career, she continued to publish well-received fiction, including her critically acclaimed novel The Ballad and the Source.
