Marc Henry Leonard, born on December 19, 2001, is a Scottish professional football midfielder who has established a career in both Scottish and English football leagues. He began his early footballing journey within the youth systems of prominent Scottish clubs, namely Rangers and Heart of Midlothian. His development in these academies eventually paved the way for a transition to English football when he joined the Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion in 2018.
To gain competitive senior experience, Leonard spent two seasons on loan at Northampton Town. His time with the club proved highly successful; he helped Northampton Town secure promotion to EFL League One during the 2022–23 campaign. His contributions were further recognized the following season when he won the club's Player of the Season award. In 2024, Leonard permanently joined the EFL Championship club Birmingham City, from which he was loaned to Scottish Premiership club Heart of Midlothian. Internationally, Leonard has represented his home country of Scotland across various youth levels, culminating in appearances for the under-21 national team.
