Levi H. Dowling was an American preacher and author active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born in 1844, Dowling focused his career on ministry and religious writing.\n\nDowling is best remembered for his 1908 book, The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ. This work remains his most notable contribution to religious literature, published just a few years before his death in 1911.
