Frances Little was the pen name of Fannie Caldwell, an American writer active during the early twentieth century. Born in 1863, she is best remembered for her literary contributions drawing from her personal travels and international experiences.\n\nHer debut and most celebrated work, The Lady of the Decoration, was directly inspired by her time living in Hiroshima, Japan, where she resided from 1902 to 1907. This work established her reputation as an author capable of translating her cross-cultural observations into popular literature. She passed away in 1941.
