Ellenor Fenn (née Frere), writing under the pseudonyms Mrs. Lovechild and Mrs. Teachwell, was a prominent British author of the eighteenth century. Born in March 1743, she became a highly prolific writer dedicated to the creation of children's literature.

Throughout her career, Fenn focused on producing educational and engaging books for young readers. She remained an active figure in children's publishing until her death in November 1813.
