Joseph Lucas (1834–1902) was an industrialist and lamp manufacturer who founded the company that would become the electrical equipment manufacturer Lucas Industries. Born in April 1834, Lucas spent his career in the manufacturing sector, establishing a business that began with lamp production.\n\nOver the course of his life, Lucas's enterprise laid the foundations for a major manufacturing entity.
