Benjamin Lumley was a British opera manager and solicitor active during the nineteenth century. Born Benjamin Levy in British North America in 1811, he was the son of Louis Levy, a Jewish merchant. Lumley later established his career in London, where he worked in both the legal and operatic fields.

Throughout his life, Lumley managed operatic endeavors while maintaining his practice as a solicitor. He passed away in London on March 17, 1875.
