William Dalrymple Maclagan (1826–1910) was a prominent religious figure who served as the Archbishop of York during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Appointed to the position in 1891, Maclagan administered the see for over a decade and a half, guiding his office through a period of transition before ultimately resigning his position in 1908.
During his tenure as Archbishop of York, Maclagan participated in significant state events, most notably officiating at the coronation of Queen Alexandra in 1902. Following his resignation, he was succeeded in 1909 by Cosmo Gordon Lang, who would later go on to become the Archbishop of Canterbury. Maclagan's life and career concluded shortly thereafter with his death in the autumn of 1910.
