Ralph Kaplowitz was an American professional basketball player who competed during the formative years of professional basketball in the United States. Born in 1919, Kaplowitz played during the first two seasons of the Basketball Association of America (BAA), the organization that would later become the National Basketball Association (NBA).

During his career, Kaplowitz played for the New York Knicks. His participation in the league's earliest seasons established him as one of the pioneering figures of the modern professional game. Following his athletic career, Kaplowitz lived to the age of eighty-nine, passing away in 2009. At the time of his death, he held the distinction of being the oldest living person to have played for the New York Knicks franchise.
