Mary Constance Charteris, Countess of Wemyss and March (née Wyndham), was a prominent English society hostess during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born in 1862, she became a well-known figure in aristocratic circles, holding the title of Lady Elcho from 1883 until 1914 before later becoming the Countess of Wemyss and March.

Charteris is chiefly remembered as an original member of The Souls, a highly exclusive social and intellectual group of the British aristocracy. The group was celebrated for its intellectual pursuits and distinct social character. She remained an influential figure within this elite circle until her death in 1937.
