Frank George Mayer was an American professional football player who competed in the National Football League (NFL) during the early twentieth century. Playing as a guard and tackle, Mayer spent one professional season in 1927 with the Green Bay Packers.
Following his playing career, Mayer transitioned into athletic instruction. In 1928, he was appointed as an assistant coach at the College of St. Thomas, which is now known as the University of St. Thomas, in Minnesota. He passed away on March 24, 1960.
