Dermot Robert Wyndham Bourke, 7th Earl of Mayo, was an Anglo-Irish peer and politician whose career spanned the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born in 1851, he was styled as Lord Naas from 1867 until 1872, before succeeding to the earldom. His public service was marked by his involvement in both British and Irish legislative bodies during a period of significant political transition.
Bourke served as an Irish representative peer in the British House of Lords from 1890 until 1921. Following the political restructuring of Ireland, he became a member of the Senate of Southern Ireland from 1921 to 1922, and subsequently served in Seanad Éireann from 1922 until his death in 1927. His career reflects the complex political landscape of the Anglo-Irish gentry during the transition to Irish self-governance.
