William Earl McLellin was an early leader in the Latter Day Saint movement. He served as one of the original members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, establishing himself as a key figure in the early history of the church. Later in his life, McLellin broke with the church's founder, Joseph Smith, parting ways with the leadership of the movement.
