Paul Andrew "Nellee" Hooper is an influential British record producer, songwriter, and remixer who rose to prominence in the late 1980s. Over his multi-decade career, Hooper has collaborated with some of the music industry's most prominent global recording artists, shaping the landscape of contemporary pop, rock, and electronic music. His production work has earned him widespread critical acclaim, including producing seven Grammy Award-winning recordings for major acts such as U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Soul II Soul, and Sinéad O'Connor.

In addition to his extensive studio production work, Hooper has made significant contributions to film music. He made his debut as a motion picture composer in 1996, collaborating with Scottish composer Craig Armstrong and Marius de Vries on the highly acclaimed soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann's film Romeo + Juliet.
