William Yoast Morgan was an American newspaperman, author, and politician who lived from 1866 to 1932. Throughout his career, he worked within the fields of journalism and writing while also participating actively in public service and state politics.
As a member of the Republican Party, Morgan achieved significant political office in his home state, serving as the twenty-first Lieutenant Governor of Kansas. His term lasted from 1915 to 1919, during which he served under Kansas Governor Arthur Capper.
