Margaret Warner Morley (1858–1923) was an American educator, biologist, and author who dedicated her career to writing about the natural world. Born in Montrose, Iowa, she combined her scientific background with her work in education to write numerous children's books focused on biology and nature study.
Morley's publications served to introduce young readers to scientific concepts in an accessible manner. She spent her life working at the intersection of education and biology before passing away in Washington, D.C. in 1923.
