George Alexander Gordon (1885–1959) was an American attorney and diplomat whose career in public service spanned the first half of the twentieth century. Born in November 1885, Gordon trained in law before entering the diplomatic corps, where he represented United States interests abroad during critical historical periods.

Throughout his diplomatic career, Gordon held several high-profile appointments. Most notably, he served as the United States Ambassador to Haiti and later as the United States Ambassador to the Netherlands.
