HMS Brave was a Type 22 frigate built for the Royal Navy by Yarrow Shipbuilders Ltd in Glasgow, Scotland. The vessel was officially launched on November 19, 1983, marking the beginning of its service history.
Following its active career, the ship was decommissioned on March 23, 1999. Its final disposition occurred in August 2004, when it was expended as a target by the submarine Sceptre and the frigate Argyll.
