Kris Ottman Neville was an American science fiction writer active during the mid-to-late twentieth century. Born in St. Louis, Neville eventually relocated to California, where he spent much of his life and career. He published his very first work of science fiction in 1949, marking his entry into the genre.\n\nOver the course of his career, Neville became a recognized figure in science fiction circles. He is most famous for his novella Bettyann, a work that has achieved lasting recognition and is widely considered a classic of the science fiction genre.
