Joel Tshisanga Ndala is an English professional footballer who plays as a left winger or forward for the Premier League club Manchester City. Born on May 31, 2006, Ndala began his early footballing development at Port Vale. In 2017, he secured a high-profile move to the Manchester City Academy, which acquired him for a fee of £300,000. After developing within Manchester City's youth system for several years, he officially signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2022.
To gain senior competitive experience, Ndala has embarked on multiple loan spells across different leagues. He spent the initial half of the 2024–25 season in the Netherlands, playing on loan for Jong PSV, the reserve squad of Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven. Following his return, he joined Nottingham Forest on loan in February 2025. His development continued into the 2025–26 campaign with successive loan spells at Championship clubs Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday.
At the international level, Ndala has represented England in various youth categories up to the under-20 team. In addition to England, his background makes him eligible to represent both France and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in senior international football.
