J.S. O'Connor is associated with the historic J.S. O'Connor American Rich Cut Glassware Factory, located in Hawley, Wayne County, Pennsylvania. Over its history, the facility was also known as the Maple City Glass Company, the H.W. Kimble Silk Company, and the Arrow Throwing Company, operating as both a glassware factory and a silk mill.

The physical structure of the factory remains a notable historical landmark in the region. In recognition of its industrial and architectural significance, the building was officially added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
