Frederick Albion Ober was an American naturalist and writer active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born on February 13, 1849, Ober focused his career on the natural sciences and authorship, combining his observations of the physical world with his literary pursuits. His life and work as a writer and naturalist concluded with his death on May 31, 1913.
