Sir David Robert Joseph Beckham is an English former professional footballer and prominent sports executive. Renowned for his exceptional passing range, crossing ability, and expertise in set-pieces, Beckham is widely regarded as one of the finest players of his generation. Over a career spanning more than two decades, he secured 19 major trophies and became the first English player to claim league titles in four different nations: England, Spain, the United States, and France.

Beckham's professional journey began at Manchester United, where he debuted in 1992 at age 17. During his tenure, he helped the club secure six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and the UEFA Champions League in 1999. He later transferred to Real Madrid, winning La Liga, before making a historic move to Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy in 2007. His club career also included loan spells with AC Milan and a final stint with Paris Saint-Germain before his retirement in 2013. On the international stage, Beckham earned 115 caps for the England national team, serving as captain for six years and representing his country in three FIFA World Cups and two UEFA European Championships.

Beyond his playing career, Beckham is recognized as a global cultural icon and philanthropist. He has served as a UNICEF ambassador since 2005, launching "7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund" in 2015. In his post-retirement career, he transitioned into club ownership, co-founding Inter Miami CF, which began league play in 2020, and co-owning Salford City F.C.
