Julie Opp was a prominent American stage actress who achieved widespread popularity on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Known for her work in theatre, she established a significant presence in both the American and British dramatic scenes.\n\nA major milestone in her career occurred in 1902, when she co-starred in the Broadway production The Royal Rival. This production was highly significant for Opp, as she performed alongside the Anglo-American actor William Faversham. The professional partnership between Opp and Faversham quickly blossomed into a personal one, and the couple married shortly after the play's run. Throughout her years on the stage, Opp remained a well-regarded figure in the transatlantic theatrical community until her death in 1921.
