Dr. Brenda Page was a resident of Aberdeen, Scotland, where she lived until her death in 1978. On 14 July 1978, she was murdered inside her home located on Allan Street. Her tragic death marked the beginning of a criminal case that would span several decades, remaining unsolved for nearly forty-five years.

During the initial investigation into her death, authorities identified her former husband, Christopher Harrisson, as a suspect. However, the case did not result in an immediate conviction, and the mystery surrounding her murder persisted for almost half a century.

The case was finally resolved in March 2023 when Christopher Harrisson was prosecuted at the High Court in Aberdeen. Found guilty of the crime, Harrisson was sentenced to life imprisonment and ordered to serve a minimum period of twenty years before being considered for parole.
