William Scott Chalmers was a rear-admiral of the British Royal Navy whose military career spanned the two world wars of the twentieth century. Born in 1888, Chalmers dedicated his life to naval service, rising through the ranks to achieve flag officer status.\n\nHis active duty during both World War I and World War II represents a career spent during the most critical periods of modern British naval history. He passed away in 1971.
