Hedley Penny was a Welsh international table tennis player who achieved prominence during the early twentieth century. Born on April 2, 1905, Penny represented Wales in international competition during an era when table tennis was establishing its formal global competitive structure. Penny's most notable athletic achievement came at the inaugural 1926 World Table Tennis Championships.
