George Washington Peirce (1846–1938) was an American business official active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He is primarily known for his administrative contributions to the mining industry during a period of significant industrial expansion in the United States.\n\nThroughout his career, Peirce held key corporate responsibilities as both secretary and treasurer for the Golden Fleece Mining and Milling Company. His work spanned multiple regional divisions of the enterprise, including its operations incorporated in New York as well as those in Iowa.
