Maud Evelyn Petty-Fitzmaurice, Marchioness of Lansdowne (née Hamilton), was a prominent British aristocrat and courtier. Born in 1850, she married Henry Charles Keith Petty-FitzMaurice, the 5th Marquess of Lansdowne, and supported him throughout his high-profile diplomatic appointments across the British Empire.

Her prominent roles included serving as the wife of the Governor General of Canada from 1883 to 1888. Following this period, she served as the Vicereine of India from 1888 to 1894 during her husband's tenure as Viceroy, representing the British Crown in these key global territories before her death in 1932.
