Evelyn Raymond (1908–1998) was an American sculptor who spent much of her life and career in Minnesota. Born on March 20, 1908, Raymond demonstrated early artistic promise, which culminated in her receiving a scholarship to study at the Minneapolis School of Art in 1928. This scholarship provided her with formal training during a formative period for twentieth-century American art.\n\nRaymond eventually settled in Duluth, Minnesota, where she resided and maintained her artistic practice. Over the course of her long life, she contributed to the cultural landscape of the region as a working sculptor.
