Sir John Campbell, 5th Baronet of Glenorchy, was a Scottish nobleman who was created the Earl of Breadalbane and Holland in 1681. Prior to receiving this title in the Peerage of Scotland, Campbell had been deprived of his previous title, the Earl of Caithness.

His title of Breadalbane refers to a historic district in Perthshire, Scotland. The region comprises a valley located within the Grampian Mountains range, with its name originating from the Scottish Gaelic term meaning 'upper Alba' or 'upland of Alba'.
