Ralph Robinson (1520–1577) was an English scholar and man of letters. Active during the sixteenth century, Robinson is primarily remembered for his significant contributions to the English literary landscape through his work as a translator.
His most notable achievement is his English translation of Sir Thomas More's Utopia. Originally written in Latin in 1516, the seminal work of political philosophy was rendered into English by Robinson, helping to make its ideas accessible to a broader English-speaking audience and securing his legacy in Tudor literary history.
