Francis Patrick Salemme, also known by the aliases "Cadillac Frank" and "the General", was an American mobster who operated out of Boston, Massachusetts. Salemme initially served as a hitman within the organized crime landscape before ascending to the role of boss for the Patriarca crime family, which held influence over the New England region.
In his later years, Salemme's relationship with the criminal underworld shifted when he became a government witness. His life and activities within organized crime concluded with his death in December 2022.
