Robert Sellar (1828–1900) was a Scottish-born merchant who became a prominent figure in the business community of Melbourne, Australia, during the nineteenth century. Born in Scotland, Sellar chose to emigrate in 1853, seeking new opportunities in the rapidly growing colony of Victoria.
