Carl Warren Selin (1927–2014) was an American collegiate sports coach and athletic administrator. Over his multi-decade career, he served in various coaching capacities, guiding football, basketball, and baseball programs at several institutions. His career spanned multiple decades and included roles at both public universities and federal service academies.
Selin began his coaching career in the early 1950s at Aurora University. During his tenure there, he served as the head coach for the football program from 1950 to 1951, the basketball program from 1951 to 1953, and the baseball team from 1952 to 1953. Following his time at Aurora, he transitioned to the University of California, Riverside, where he directed the football team as head coach from 1956 to 1958.
In the early 1960s, Selin joined the United States Coast Guard Academy, serving as the head baseball coach for five years. He subsequently transitioned into administrative roles at the Academy, serving as its athletic director from 1966 until his retirement in 1979.
