Malik Benjamin "Shake" Milton is an American professional basketball player who has competed in both North American and European leagues. Born in 1996, Milton began his competitive career at the collegiate level, playing basketball for Southern Methodist University (SMU) from 2015 to 2018. His performance at the college level paved the way for his entry into professional sports.
Milton entered the National Basketball Association (NBA) when he was selected 54th overall in the 2018 NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks. He was subsequently traded to the Philadelphia 76ers on draft night, marking the beginning of his professional tenure. Over his career, Milton has played for multiple NBA teams, including the Minnesota Timberwolves, Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, and the Los Angeles Lakers. He later transitioned to international competition, joining Partizan Belgrade to play in the Serbian League (KLS), the ABA League, and the EuroLeague.
