Murray Seeman was an American lawyer, real estate developer, and civic leader who made significant contributions to his community on Long Island, New York. Born in 1914, Seeman served as the Mayor of Great Neck Estates and was recognized as a Biblical scholar alongside his professional endeavors in law and real estate.

During World War II, Seeman entered the United States Army in 1942, serving in the Quartermaster Corps with the 6th Port Headquarters across Morocco, Italy, and France. He held roles as an Army Exchange Officer, a trial advocate, a defense attorney, and a judge for a Summary Military Court of the Allied Military Government Court in Naples. His unit was awarded the Meritorious Service Plaque in 1945 for its superior performance.

In his later years, Seeman's wartime experiences were preserved through oral history. A 2009 interview for the NSTV Veterans History Story was featured in a compilation program nominated for a New York Emmy in 2013. His legacy was further honored by the Library of Congress Veterans History Project during its 20th anniversary celebration in 2020.
