Stuart Pratt Sherman (1881–1926) was an American literary critic, educator, and journalist. Active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Sherman balanced his career between academic instruction and journalism, contributing to the critical analysis of literature during his era.
Throughout his life, Sherman worked to shape the landscape of American letters through his critical writings and educational endeavors. He remained an active voice in literary journalism and academia until his death in 1926.
