George Oliver Smith (1911–1981) was an American science fiction writer. Over the course of his literary career, he published works under his birth name as well as the pseudonym Wesley Long.
To avoid confusion among readers and historians, Smith is distinguished from George H. Smith, another American science fiction author who wrote during a similar period.
