David Parks is an American politician from Las Vegas, Nevada, who dedicated over two decades to public service in the state's legislature. A member of the Democratic Party, Parks began his legislative career in the Nevada Assembly, where he served from 1996 until his transition to the state Senate.
In November 2008, Parks was elected to the Nevada Senate, representing the 7th district in Clark County. He served in this role for twelve years, contributing to state legislative processes until he reached his term limit in 2020, at which point he did not run for re-election.
