Charles Vincent Emerson Starrett, known professionally as Vincent Starrett, was a Canadian-born American writer, newspaperman, and bibliophile. Born in 1886, Starrett developed a career centered around journalism and literary pursuits. Over his lifetime, he became well-regarded for his work in the newspaper industry and his deep passion for collecting and studying books. He maintained a lifelong dedication to the written word until his death in 1974.
