John O. Stearns was an American politician who was active in the state of Maryland during the late nineteenth century. He is primarily remembered for his legislative service in the state's regional government.
During his political career, Stearns served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates. In this role, he represented the constituents of Harford County. His term of service in the House of Delegates began in 1892 and concluded in 1896. Stearns passed away on May 26, 1910.
