Simeon Strunsky was a Russian-born Jewish American essayist and journalist who made significant contributions to American print media during the first half of the twentieth century. Born in 1879, he eventually immigrated to the United States, where he established a distinguished career in journalism and commentary.
Strunsky is best remembered for his extensive tenure as an editorialist for The New York Times, a position he held for more than two decades. Through his essays and editorial work, he became a prominent voice in American journalism before his death in 1948.
