Václav Tille was a Czech writer active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born on February 16, 1867, in the town of Tábor, Tille developed a literary career that contributed to the Czech cultural landscape during a period of significant development.\n\nIn addition to publishing under his birth name, Tille was known for his use of the pen name Václav Říha. He spent much of his life and career in Prague, where he eventually passed away on June 26, 1937. His legacy remains tied to his contributions to Czech literature and his dual identity as an author.
