Count Ilya Lvovich Tolstoy was a Russian writer who lived during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born on May 22, 1866, he was the third child and second son of the celebrated novelist Leo Tolstoy.\n\nAs a member of the Russian nobility, Tolstoy held the title of Count. He pursued his own path as a writer, navigating the literary world alongside his family's prominent heritage. He passed away on December 11, 1933.
